Refunds and cancellation
How refunds, cancellation, and payment expectations are made clear before a family joins paid access.
Payment must stay parent-clear
Before a family starts paid access, the payment page shows pricing, subscription period, cancellation path, refund rules, taxes where relevant, and mandatory consumer rights in plain language.
The refund rules
Cancelling stops future renewals and access continues to the end of the paid period. Started billing periods are not refunded pro-rata unless mandatory law requires otherwise. A wrong or duplicate charge is corrected and refunded.
Where paid plans are offered
Paid SchoolQuest plans are currently offered only to purchasers whose permanent residence is outside the European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom. A temporary trip does not change permanent residence. The order page asks the purchaser to confirm this before Stripe opens. SchoolQuest does not require a complete billing address; if Stripe clearly reports an excluded country, paid access stays closed. Mandatory law still prevails wherever it applies.
Early-access changes
During early access, access can be paused, changed, or ended while the app improves. Export and deletion of account and child-learning data do not depend on that: both run from the parent area at any time, and the support or feedback path stays open for anything the app cannot do itself.
